Chiang Mai Night Markets

Good evening everyone!

Today was a really busy and fantastic day. We went to a Thai cooking class for most of the day, which taught us how to cook a five course meal and then we got to eat it all.

After we got back from the cooking class, we spent the evening at the Saturday market. There was so many people everywhere, it was very overwhelming. However, we got to practice our bartering skills and try some street food. Many people bought elephant pants and a bunch of souvenirs for friends and family. I found a great Buddha painting that was super cheap, and absolutely beautiful.

We then returned to the night market we were at last night to grab a bite to eat and purchase some items we had been looking at earlier. Overall it was a wonderful day.

A picture of the painting I purchased at the market tonight.
