Cooking Class!

Salutations from Thailand!

Today we had an amazing experience at a Thai Cooking class! We are currently in Chang Mai after taking a flight last night around 5! After we arrived we went to an amazing night market with so many food stations to choose from!

At the Thai cooking class we were able to make a few different dishes, after choosing from various options for curry, soup, stir-fry, dessert and we all made spring rolls. The company was nice enough to pick us up from the hotel first, and they brought us to a local market, where she showed us how to work through the difficulties that foreign tourists may face when finding what they need. We continued on to the coking school, where we were able to initially choose the dishes we wanted to prepare. After this, we were taken through the school's own garden, and shown the areas they grow certain things. We were able to try a few different types of basile that are used, including the "hot basile" that our chef said was good to use in tea!
Our Head Chef showing us different types of noodles at the local market.

Some fruits that are commonly found in Thailand! Main ones are guava and dragon fruit!
